This lively street festival started on July 4th and continues until the 7th. Now in its third year, Taco Fest offers a wide array of delicious treats from over 50 of Michigan’s top taco trucks, taquerias, and restaurants. With plenty of free, action-packed entertainment and an expanded Kids’ Zone with various activities, this event has something for everyone – it’s a complete package, making it an excellent family event.
The Royal Oak Taco Fest also presents more than 50 of metro Detroit’s best local entertainment acts on five stages, covering a range of musical genres such as rock, R&B, alternative, jazz, country, and more. The festive sounds of Mariachi performers can be heard throughout the streets, providing a traditional Mexican cultural experience with trumpets, guitars, and violins.
