Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day Spotlights Tynamo

Tynamo takes the center stage in the Pokémon GO July 2024 Community Day on July 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. This Electric-type Pokémon from the Unova region will be more commonly found in the wild during this event, with a chance for trainers to encounter a Shiny Tynamo. Additionally, special bonuses are in place for this Community Day, encouraging trainers to catch as many Tynamo as possible!

• 2× Candy rewards for capturing Pokémon
• 2× higher chance for Trainers Level 31 and above to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
• 1/4 reduced Hatch Distance for Eggs placed in Incubators during the event
• Extended duration for Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)
• One extra Special Trade per day with reduced Stardust cost

During and up to five hours after the event, evolving Eelektrik—Tynamo’s first Evolution—will result in Eelektross learning the Fast Attack Volt Switch. Engage in the Tynamo Community Day exclusive Special Research for US$1.00 (or equivalent in local currency) and participate in Timed Research to earn Unova Stones needed for Eelektrik’s evolution. Completing Field Research tasks also offers rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, additional Tynamo encounters, and more!

Join the Community Day excitement with four-star Raid Battles featuring Eelektrik from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Post a successful Raid Battle, more Tynamo will spawn around the raid Gym for 30 minutes. These four-star raids require Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes and are not accessible through Remote Raid Passes.
