PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Eagles fans gathered early in the morning for tailgating before the game, with some fans, including a Vietnam veteran, celebrating more than just football.
Dan McAlee, a lifelong Eagles fan and Vietnam veteran, was surprised by his entire family on his 70th birthday.
Amidst the sea of Eagles fans, there were others celebrating milestones, like Rob D’Adrea, who turned 30 and was joined by friends and family for a festive tailgate.
The tailgate featured a variety of food and drinks, including smoked jerk chicken, pulled pork, and mimosas, all adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Eagles fans from near and far came together to support their team and showcase the spirit of Philadelphia as a football city.
Dan, reflecting on the team’s performance, expressed his admiration for the Eagles, hoping that they would make it to the Super Bowl as an ultimate birthday wish.
