Marvel Studios released the first trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World” today. The trailer showcased Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (featuring Red Hulk), Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres / Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, and Anthony Mackie as Captain America. Notably, Giancarlo Esposito also made an appearance in the trailer, sparking speculation about his role in the MCU.

Fans have theorized, as reported by Polygon, that Esposito might be playing the role of George Washington (G.W.) Bridge. In the comics, Bridge is a former gunman turned SHIELD agent. Given SHIELD’s absence following its dissolution in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” the role could introduce an intriguing storyline.

News about Esposito’s involvement in the MCU first emerged in May after years of speculation. Despite Marvel and Esposito keeping details under wraps, the actor hinted that his character reveal is imminent and will exceed expectations. With San Diego Comic-Con on the horizon, fans anticipate more insights.

Set for a theatrical release on February 14, 2025, “Captain America: Brave New World” promises an intriguing lineup of characters, including the Red Hulk.
