She excelled in ball striking last season, gaining a significant advantage with her approach shots and off the tee. Grant’s strength in driving has continued into the 2024 season, with her ranking fourth in strokes gained driving and 17th in average driving distance. She has achieved five top-20 finishes this year, including notable performances at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and The Chevron Championship. Grant is working towards earning a spot on her second European Solheim Cup team after qualifying for her first Olympic Games in Paris in August.
Aditi Ashok, a five-time Ladies European Tour winner, will also be competing in the Olympics for India. She narrowly missed a medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and finished 41st in 2016 at the Rio Olympics. Ashok is still seeking her first LPGA Tour victory and hopes to make a breakthrough at Highland Meadows Golf Club. Despite mixed results in previous Dana Open appearances, she finished tied for seventh last year. In the 2024 season, Ashok has faced challenges with four missed cuts but has shown promise with two top-25 finishes at major championships. She excels in putting, ranking ninth in strokes gained putting and second in sand saves on the LPGA Tour.
Xiyu Lin from China is another player competing in the Olympics and is eager for her first LPGA Tour win at Highland Meadows Golf Club. She has consistently performed well at the Dana Open, with top-25 finishes in her last five starts. Lin has achieved five top-15 results so far in the 2024 season and stands out in various statistical rankings, such as strokes gained around the green and strokes gained total. Lin qualified for her third Olympics and aims to secure a podium finish for China at Le Golf National.
