Leading up to the debut of the docuseries, Jon Bon Jovi sat down with “Good Morning America” anchor Michael Strahan for an ABC Special, “Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway There,” to delve into his life and legacy.
A preview of the interview was aired on “GMA,” where the singer candidly discussed the impact of his career on his personal life.
Jon Bon Jovi has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, for over three decades.
In response to Strahan suggesting that his success may have strained his relationship, Jon Bon Jovi dismissed the notion, stating, “That’s nonsense.”

“I got away with murder. I say it again on camera,” he added. “I’m a rock and roll star. I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that, that there weren’t a hundred girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.”
Despite the attention and temptations that came with fame, Jon Bon Jovi reflected that they were not worth indulging in.
He emphasized, “If you think I was ever going to risk anything for the sake of my own narcissism, that’s a foolish thing to do.” Jon Bon Jovi concluded that no amount of excess was worth jeopardizing what truly mattered in life.
