The 2026 SummerSlam event will be the city’s first Premium Live Event since 2019 and will also mark WWE’s debut in hosting a stadium event in Minneapolis. Apart from the two-night main event, there will be additional fan and community activities organized by WWE and MNSE in the days before and after the SummerSlam event.

U.S. Bank Stadium, home to the Minnesota Vikings, is a modern indoor venue in Minneapolis, having hosted prestigious events like Super Bowl LII (2018) and the NCAA Men’s Final Four (2019). The stadium was also recognized as the NFL’s top venue by The Athletic in 2023.
The announcement follows a successful ticket sales event for this year’s SummerSlam, scheduled to take place at Cleveland Browns Stadium on August 3. The 2023 SummerSlam event at Ford Field in Detroit set a gate record for non-WrestleMania events with $8.5 million in revenue.
