If you enjoy using a controller for your fighting games instead of a fight stick, the upcoming Street Fighter editions of the Hori Fighting Commander Octa are worth checking out. Available in two Street Fighter designs, these gamepads offer a great alternative to the more expensive fight sticks on the market. You can preorder them now before their release on August 16th. Previously, a Tekken 8-themed model of the Fighting Commander controller was also released this year.

These wired PC gamepads feature artwork with either Cammy or Juri designs. They come with a controller optimized for quick button and bumper inputs, a precise directional D-pad, and a unique analog slide pad for menu navigation. With six face buttons and four additional bumpers, they offer extra functionality.

Officially licensed by Capcom, these gamepads are designed for competitive gaming. They provide a great alternative to fight sticks and include the Hori Device Manager app for managing button assignments and D-pad settings. Priced at $60, they offer excellent value.

For console players, the Fighting Commander Octa is also available for PlayStation and Xbox in solid black color schemes. The PlayStation version is priced at $55 (from $60) and the Xbox version at $43 (from $50), both compatible with PC as well.

For those who prefer fight sticks, there are various options available, with many currently on sale on Amazon before Prime Day. The 8BitDo Wireless Arcade Stick for Xbox and PC, a budget-friendly choice with eight large buttons and a responsive arcade stick, is on sale for $96 (usually $120) for Prime members. Check out more deals below.

If you want to pair your new controller with Street Fighter 6, you can get it for just $25 at GameSpot’s sister site Fanatical.
