Rowan University Athletics Men’s Track & Field Team Ranked 5th by USTFCCCA in All-Region Awards

New Orleans, LA – Rowan University’s Men’s Track & Field team secured notable recognition on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Teams with 25 Profs receiving honors. Among these, seven athletes were acknowledged in two events, with standouts including Amara Conte (200/400 meters), Marquise Young (110/400 meter hurdles), and Nana Agyemang (Long Jump, 4×100 relay). Other notable multiple winners were Jason Agyemang (110/400 meter hurdles), Elijah Hendricks (200 meters/4×100 relay), Shamar Love (100 meters/4×100 relay), and Robert McKinney (200 meters/4×100 relay).

Selections were made following last week’s AARTFC Championships, a two-day event held at SUNY-Cortland, where Rowan University claimed the team title for the third consecutive year. Athletes who placed in the top 5 in their events within each region were awarded All-Region honors, along with members of top-3 ranked relay teams.

The Men’s Track & Field team is gearing up to send 13 hopefuls to the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The championship is set to commence on Thursday, May 23rd at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
