Christy Turlington revealed that her son Finn, who recently turned 18, was teased during a basketball game at his school. The opposing team resorted to passing around nude images from one of Turlington’s past modeling shoots as a way to mock him.
Turlington expressed her surprise that this incident didn’t occur earlier and called the behavior “rude”.
“I was surprised it hadn’t happened sooner,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in the May 2024 Beauty Issue. “But, at the same time, I was like, ‘This is so rude!’”

She and her husband Ed Burns are parents to two children, including 21-year-old daughter Grace.
The situation escalated when the school intervened, much to Turlington’s dismay.

“All I wanted to do was disappear,” confessed Turlington, who has been vocal about her desire to step away from the public eye. “I don’t feel embarrassed about anything. Regretting things is a waste of time.”
One of the prominent supermodels of the ’90s, along with names like Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Linda Evangelista, Turlington transitioned from modeling to focus on academics, earning degrees from New York University and Columbia University.

In a 2023 interview with Glamour, Turlington jokingly mentioned that her children were not fully aware of her past modeling career when they were younger.
“When they were both little, I didn’t really model very much,” she explained. “I still don’t. It’s pretty rare when I do. But my daughter knew I went to school, which she thought was hilarious because she would do homework and I would do homework. The fact that I could talk about ‘I have a test tomorrow’ … she really liked that.”
