The Detroit Tigers, in cooperation with Major League Baseball, have revealed their schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, which includes 81 games at Comerica Park. As a founding member of the American League, the 2025 season will mark the 125th year of Tigers baseball and their 26th season at Comerica Park.
The Tigers commence the 2025 season on March 27 in Los Angeles, facing off against the Dodgers in what will be a historic Opening Day matchup between the two legendary franchises. Following this series, the Tigers will continue their road trip with three games against the Seattle Mariners from March 30 to April 2. The much-anticipated Opening Day celebration, sponsored by Rocket Mortgage, is scheduled for April 4 against the Chicago White Sox.
With a balanced schedule for 2025, the Tigers will compete against every team in the Major Leagues, including eight interleague series hosted at Comerica Park. The National League teams visiting Detroit next season include the Chicago Cubs (June 6-8), New York Mets (September 1-3), and Atlanta Braves (September 19-21). Additionally, road interleague series will feature games against the Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and Philadelphia Phillies.
