Georgia softball survived and advanced in the Athens Regional with the aid of a walk-off hit by Dallis Goodnight against Liberty.
Goodnight’s hit clinched the Bulldogs’ 13th Super Regional appearance — and a matchup with No. 6 seed UCLA in the Los Angeles Super Regional. Game 1 is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET at Easton Stadium in Los Angeles.

Georgia started the Athens Regional with an 8-0 win over UNC-Wilmington but lost the second game 7-3 to Liberty. The Bulldogs then beat Charlotte in an elimination match on Saturday and defeated the Flames twice on Sunday to advance. On the other hand, the Bruins defeated Grand Canyon and Virginia Tech in the Los Angeles Regional to move on as a host.
